Product Description

Just when your show is getting good you get an interruption from a commercial. Without warning the television station switches from your show to showing you a commercial. When I was coming up you they were at the least polite about. When they were switching to a commercial you would get a nice little song – after these messages will be right back. These days, like a thief in the night, commercials have a way of just breaking in and interrupting your show. Although at times commercials can be annoying, the marketing groups that put together many of these commercials had a way of making them a lot less annoying by making them more entertaining and more memorable. The skits and actors/actresses makes them entertaining. The taglines makes them memorable.

For instance, how many of you remember the throwback Wendy’s commercial that involved the little old lady. The tag line was simply “where’s the beef.” Throw back Diet Coke – “just for the taste of it.” Throw back regular coke – “have a coke and a smile.” McDonald’s never failed on producing great commercials with great taglines.

  • Two all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, on a sesame seed bun
  • We love to see you smile
  • I’m loving it
