Product Description

"He that hath a bountiful eye shall be blessed; for he giveth of his bread to the poor" (Proverbs 22:9).

"He that giveth unto the poor shall not lack: but he that hideth his eyes shall have many a curse" (Proverbs 28:27).

"Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find it after many days" (Eccles. 11:1).

We can see from these scriptures that God is concerned about the poor and set up a system where the poor could be assisted through the religious community.

This is the very reason why the Prophet Malachi records this very familiar passage of scripture found in chapter three and verse ten, “Bring ye all the tithes to the storehouse so that there might be meat in mine house”

The storehouse was the place of worship primarily the temple or the local synagogue where the worshippers would bring there tithe for the purpose of God’s work within the temple and community.

This concept has not changed for chapter eight of 2 Corinthians urge this very same principle of bringing an offering for the purpose of helping those who were not as fortunate as others.

The overall teaching is to motivate believers to participate and partner with God financially in the spreading of the Gospel message.

Finances increase the ministries ability to make the Gospel message more accessible and available to those who have not heard nor experienced its message or power.
