It would have been great if Emmitt Smith would have left the game of football after winning three NFL Super Bowl rings thus he would have left the game “on top of the world”.
In our text, it would have been great -- a good playwright production and a satisfying script -- if the story of Jesus would have ended at this point – seemingly “on top of the world”.
Yet, Jesus didn’t come to show us how to live on top of the world but how do you maintain when seemingly the world is on top of you!
PREMISE/THESIS: If Jesus made it through this grueling, punishing, and exhausting week, the Jesus in you will help you make it through your week!

If all you know of Jesus is “early” SUNDAY morning; then I am beginning to understand why your MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY is filled with defeat and demise, regret and remorse, aggravation and frustration.
